Our forefather, laxmi-narayan sharma, started his journey to kolhapur from up north, with a shutter camera, clickin pictures at carnivals, in 1945. In kolhapur, he had to sell his camera to survive, and so he bought a kadhai and a stove and started selling bhajis in front of a college and eventually started a hotel and later started kolhapur's famous "bengali cold drinks".
This legacy was carried forward by his son, radheshyam and then his son manohar. Manohar started a ice cream manufacturing unit at industrial area in just a 10x12 sq ft room and now he and his sons, satyen, ravi and sachin have taken it to the upper level by constructing a huge 22000 sq ft manufacturing unit with more than 70 workers and more than 60+ number of flavours.
While creating frostee ice creams, no compromise is done while selecting purest of pure quality of ingredients, like milk, cream, fruit pulps, nuts etc. The floors of the manufacturing units, the machines, cold rooms and transportation vehicles are kept in hygienically clean conditions. The process parameters are always kept under check so as to ensure the desired smoothness and texture and fat and protein content portion. This is a pure milk based, 100 % vegetarian ice cream.
